FREE DANCE CLASSES
for anyone living with a cancer diagnosis
in Shrewsbury & Telford


Kindly funded by Lingen Davies Cancer Support, I Can Dance classes classes are open to anyone living with a cancer diagnosis, whatever stage of your journey. These free sessions are light-hearted and relaxed and offer you the chance to access a fun, friendly and uplifting dance experience.
These welcoming classes are open to complete beginners and those with some dance experience; - what ever your level , you will find the choreography easy to pick up and a joy to dance 😊
While the classes aim to increase activeness expect a moderate pace of exercise - this means that your heart will beat a little faster as well as shine a little brighter!
As with any new exercise programme, please ensure that you have consulted with your medical professional if you are unsure about whether you are well enough to participate.

I'm absolutely loving this class. It's great physical exercise and you can push yourself as much as you want or just do what you are able and happy to do. It's great for the brain cells too. I think that the class is so beneficial for people with a cancer diagnosis - dancing really takes you out of yourself , it's a win win.

The dance classes have been fantastic, great fun and without a doubt have helped my recovery both physically and mentally following treatment. It's an hour of pure joy when I don't think about anything else, I think it should be prescribed!
